We often decide that we want to lose weight and we pick a diet that is way more than we can actually sustain. So we get a week maybe two down the road and we start to cheat or make excuses on why we can't keep it up. Eventually it just falls by the wayside and you gain back all the intial weight that you lost. So how do we actually stick to a diet and stop the yo-yo dieting effect. Here is a great article that will give you the tools to do just that. The number one step that I see is that it cannot be a diet, it needs to be a lifestyle change. This is how we make big changes, they become part of our lives, not a temporary fix. There are no temporary fixes. So lets get to work and make some real changes.
