THE PLANKS YOU SHOULD BE DOING (BUT PROBABLY AREN'T)

We have all seen this plank challenges. But is it really helping your core to hold a plank for 3, 4 or 10 mins? There are definately some muscular endurance benefits, but is it making your core stronger? That is the goal of a plank. So if you are not strengthening your core what is the point of holding that plank so long? Is it just a test or a competition? This is exactly what this article supposes.
