We all need to be active and keep our bodies moving. The old saying "move it or lose it," is completely true. We have to keep our bodies in motion for them to function properly. This doesn't mean that we need to spend 3 hours a day in the gym, but it does mean that we need a little exercise every single day. If we are able to get between 30 mins to an hour of focused exercise (strength, cardio, yoga, etc) our bodies will function so much better. We will be less sick and in much better health.
