We need all of the essential nutritients protein, carbohydrates, and fats. They all have different uses in our body and will effect us differently if we are not meeting our necessary requirement for them. This is why it can be so unhealthy to completely talk out any of these from your diet. You may lower one area or another for a specific diet, but to eliminate could compromise internal organs and body function. So even though I am fat adaptive I still get some carbs just to run that basic body function that I need, like brain function. Your brain uses glucose as fuel and the carbs in your body turn into glucose to be used by your brain. No carbs means no glucose and low brain function. So make sure that you are getting enough of everything to keep your body running at optimal performance for you.
