So many runners feel like the only exercise that they really need to do is to get out there and run. I have the same issue with some fighters. All they want to do is spar or grapple, they never want to cross train or do conditioning. However, to really be proficient at any sport you have to be strong every where. Tiger Woods proved this in golf. He started weight training for golf and became one of the best golfers of a generation. We need to make sure that we are also adding a great mobility, not just stretching, to our workout program. It is so important to be able to move in all planes of motion, not just running.
