The Importance of Rest

Some of us get to be fitness fanatics and are constantly working out. I see the people that end up at the gym for several hours a day and I salute them for their dedication. However, your body also needs rest. To cintinue to see those gains that you are looking for sometimes it is more benficial to take a day off, so your system can recover than it is to push your body to injury. Often times injury is your bodies way to tell you to slow down a little bit. Always listen to your body. Know when you need to push a little harder and when to back off a little.
