It is not enough to just eat "healthy" we need to be eating foods that are packed with nutrients. This is the real goal of leading a healthy life. There is so much "health" food out there that is just as devoid of any real nutrition that even though you may lose some weight it doesn't mean that you are any healthier than before. Weight loss is not a determining factor in health. When we finally come to understand this we can then introduct foods to our body and find that energy and vitality that we have been lacking. This is why introducing a whole foods plant based diet has been so important. That doesn't mean that you need to cut out all meat. But it does mean that you should start integrating more plant based foods into your diet. Try it and see if you don't notice a huge change in your health.
