Burn More Calories with this HIIT Sprint Interval Workout

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is not always about burning more calories and losing weight. It is also about speed, endurance, and getting your body to adjust to working in conditions under stress. The last one is my favorite benefit of HIIT. I need my body to be able to perform under the most extreme conditions whether it is fighting another person or doing an 24hr endurance event. I am going to be pushing to places that normal people never go and my body must be prepared to deal with those conditions over the long term. HIIT does a great job of simulating that kind of stress on your body. The human body is an amazing thing, there is very little that it cannot adjust to. Extreme heat and extreme cold can be endured if you know the best ways to protect yourself and you are willing to push your body to the limit. Often it isn't the physical that fails, it is your mental game that crumbles. So HIIT also helps push your mind shaping it into an unbreakable force.
