The best diet is really not a diet at all, it is a complete lifestyle change. I did that 7 years ago and I have been healthier, stronger, and more energetic than I have ever been. You don't have to do what I have done (becoming completely vegan) but you need to find what is healthy for you and stick with it. You will only find lasting change if you change your lifestyle. A diet usually means eating different for a specific period of time. The problem is you do that diet for a prescribed time but then after you return to the things that you were doing before. So you yo-yo back and forth, losing weight and getting healthy and then gaining and becoming unhealthy. In all honesty what is the point. If you want to be healthy and happy you need to decide what is more important, long life and health or disease, low energy, and early death. Is that junk food really worth that. It is your decision.
