Eating Healthy With Herbs and Spices

For thousands of years people have been treating disease with food and local spices. Why is it that just in the last 30 years we have come to believe that medicine, that has innumerable side effects, is really the way to go for optimum health. This could be the main reason why our health continues to decline and disease is becoming more and more widespread. We have come to believe that we just need a pill for everything. We use them to regulate our blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, heart rhythm, erectile function, then manage all the side effect from those drugs that are supposed to be helping us. Is there an obvious mistake on our part here? More often than not, it is what we are eating that is really killing us. I have been a perfect example of that. I was struggling with a host of health issues and when I decided that it wasn't worth my life to keep eating garbage all of my health issues miraculously disappeared. We are what we eat and we need to really decide what is more important to us, our lives or that tasty hamburger. It really is that simple.
