I have always believed that self-esteem starts with how you feel about yourself. We often allow other people and circumstances to dictate how we feel about ourselves and this is the trap that we often fall into. This is why so many people are depressed and anxious. They believe their work, their friends, their children, or their spouse are the ones that give them worth. This is all a lie because other people will eventually fail us. We have worth because we are here, because we are alive and because we are all special and unique. We fill a certain void in the universe and without us certain goals could never be achieved. We must realize we were gifted our worth at birth, not in anyone elses eyes. We are worth it because we are alive. This is why health and wellness are so sacred to me. It is that life that creates our value, so focus on that and find the beauty that you hold and prepare for a truly abundant life.
