In recent years I have been pretty disillusioned by the state of our health care here in the States. The mindset of treatment versus cure is astounding. Not to mention the treatment of symptoms rather than disease prevention. We have a culture that would rather gorge on unhealthy things and treat the obvious problems later, rather than suspend our desires and stay healthy and have a full life.
