If you struggle with ADD/ADHD you know that it is a challenge to focus on anything. I have learned how to keep myself as focus as possible by giving my mind several things to focus on at once. Often I type, watch tv, and have a conversation all at the same time. So we all need to know ourselves well enough to find out what we can handle so that we can function and be as successful as possible. I have always had the ability to hyper-focus and get things done. Many people who have ADHD may also have the Eddison Gene that allows this to happen. This is the theory that some people with ADHD actually are descendant from a time where we had to survive to live and being this way ensured our survival.
