Yoga continues to be a hot commodity here in the States. However, it has become something other than what it was intended for originally. We have a habit of changing the essence of things here in the States. We are often so focused on body image that we lose the inherent health and wellness benefits of yoga (honestly the only things that really matter). We have used the magazines and videos to make yoga into a industry that makes billions of dollars. It was only a matter of time before that became sexualized by our sexually charged culture. As a man and yoga teacher, I am not complaining that women who do yoga wear the sexiest pants possible.
