I just recently had one of my clients ask me how to deal with some of the lower back pain that she was expereincing towards the end of our workouts. I reminded her that the core of the body is from the lower portion of the shoulders to the top of the thighs and all the way around the body. If we are to strengthen the core it incompasses the lower back as well and that is often the most neglected place. So we need to do both stretching exercises and strengthening exercises for that area if we are to be free from lower back pain. It is the number one issue that many people face. Mainly because we sit at desks all day then go and sit on our couches, but we do little to no exercise for our lower back. So here are some great exercises to solve that problem.
