There are all kinds of opinions from very informed people that are constantly kicked around the gym. Every trainer believes that their method is the right method. No matter how great the results have been for the populace that they are working with it doesn't change the fact that we are all individuals and need an individual plan. No everything works for everyone. So because of these differing ideas about training there are a multitude of mistakes that we make while training, because some "authority" says it works. This why I love the philosophy of Kevin Kearns and Burn with Kearns, "Use what works." This means that we provide a great and varied system but if there are new developments that are better or new equipment we evolve and grow with the market.
