Costa Rica set to close public zoos and release the animals back into the wild

This is just another reason why I love this little Latin American country. They want to be naturalists so much that they refuse to even have zoos. They prefer to keep their animals wild and free. This is one of the main reasons why this country continues to be one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet. When we look at the implications of imprisonment, captivity has on many of these animals it is amazing to see an culture that wants to protect all its resources.
