The oceans are linked to everything that we are able to do on this planet. When I did a snorkeling tour off Cano Island in Costa Rica I was fortunate enough the see several humpback whales including a baby doing tricks and showing off for us. It was a beautiful sight to behold. However, the highlight of the trip was a sea turtle the size of a Volkswagen 100 feet from our boat. It was so beautiful and amazing to see such a creature in the wild, I have to say I have never seen anything to match it. With all that life in mind I also remember seeing the mounds of trash in the ocean as we flew over from the coast of Florida to Costa Rica.
