The 3 Best and 3 Worst CrossFit Workouts

It is not a secret that I have never been a big fan of CrossFit. I think it can be an amazing way to get into shape, but it can also be the fastest route to injury. There are some CrossFit routines that are excellent and others that are just meant to kill people. I think this is the worst sort of training. If we are training to push people that is one thing, if we are trying to break them it is completely different. I know tons of CrossFit trainers that are great and some that are terrible and I respect them all. But I always worry when we go from reps of power lifting into Plyometric drills. It is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention the soccer mom who has never done a deadlift, barbell squat, or a box jump before that is now expected to do a WOD with little to no instruction, just competition. With that said if there is good instruction and monitoring form then it can be a dynamic, fat blasting workout. Check out some of the best and the worst in this article.
