There are all kinds of issues with regular cow milk. From allergies to the inflated claims that we have recently found out are completely false. We have seen all the commercials that say that milk does a body good and the claims that it strengthens your bones. Now we find that both of these are wrong. Milk actually leeches your bones of calcium and can cause osteoporosis rather than prevent it. So we have a number of milk alternatives and my personal favorite is almond milk. I use it every morning in my coffee and as the base for my morning #Shakeology chocolate, pb2, banana shake....delicious. The biggest problem is that almond milk can be a little expensive. So to combat that you can make it yourself for about half the price of what you can buy it for. It takes a little work, but it may be worth it to you.
