This has been a huge nutrition topic in the last several years. With the idea of low carbs, no carbs, and now all carbs people are getting out of control trying to get a grasp on this part of fitness. The problem is that we really need a balance of carbs, fat, protein, and phytonutrients. If we are not getting a balance of these things our body will start to have problems and even though we may see dramatic results we need to understand what those things are doing to our system for the long haul. The last time I checked we have to spend our entire lives in this body. It's like having the choice to put an additive in your gas tank that will allow you to drive 40 mph faster, but knowing at the end of the year your engine will blow up. We do the same thing with nutrition, but we forget that at some point the engine will blow up.
