Family holidays: five reasons to be cheerful about 2015

I remember my family vacations as a kid, they were my happiest moments. We would go for a two week road trip every year. My dad would plan it out a year in advance and save several thousand dollars so we could go an enjoy vacation the way that it was meant to be enjoyed. We always went to the tourist traps and ate at restuarants. We never stayed at peoples houses. We always spent as much as we wanted and did everything that we didn't do the rest of the year. We would stop at roadside attractions and make little detours to see the rock that looked like JFK. It was many memorable moments. I loved doing that, hoever in the past 10 years things have become so expensive it's tough for a family to even take a trip at all. Finally the enconomy is starting to come around. We have more money and destinations are lowering their prices so families can afford to come and explore. So check out this article and get ready to plan for your 2015 family vacation.
